The largest observational study so far to examine the association between chocolate consumption and risk of cardiovascular disease has found that those who ate the most chocolate had a 39% lower risk of myocardial infarction (MI) and stroke than individuals who ate almost no chocolate. Women who walk 2 or more hours a week, especially at a brisk pace, are significantly less likely to experience any type of stroke than women who do not walk, according to long-term follow-up findings from the Women’s Health Study (WHS). (Wait, wait, wait…add Nike to the buy list).
